Bertol Brecht - his relevance to contemporary theatre makers

A discussion on the relevance that Brecht has for contemporary theatre makers will be held on the evening of 19 March 2013 at the Goethe-Institut in London.

It is the culmination of a two day workshop hosted by the Royal Shakespeare Company, in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut, between British and German theatre makers and chaired by Mark Ravenhill.

This event compliments the RSC's production of A Life of Galileo, the English version of which was written by RSC playwright in residence, Ravenhill. Participants are British theatre makers Phil Porter, Tom Morton-Smith, Sophie Ivatts and Ella Hickson and the German theatre makers Friederike Heller, Hans-Werner Kroesinger, David Gieselmann and Nicholas Mockridge.

Admission is free to this discussion free but booking is essential. Call 020 7596 4000 or e-mail [email protected].
