A Century Of Sound celebrates Surrey's musical heritage

Surrey Heath Museum's festival A Century Of Sound is looking for acts to fill busking pitches and open mic slots at Camberley Theatre.

The week-long event plans to celebrate the musical heritage of the area with a variety of performances and is calling for musical performance, storytelling, clowning, juggling, poetry, comedy and magic acts.

Budding writers may submit a short piece of fiction or a poem for PUSH, a platform for new writers.

The best performance at the open mic night will win a prize and a star spot at showcase Over The Moon.

Application information is available online at A Century of Sound.

Hit band Bros are amongst the famous names from music, theatre and the arts that originate from Camberley.
