Casting has been announced for Andrew Keatley’s The Gathered Leaves which has its world première at Park Theatre where it runs from 15 July.
This family drama takes place over Easter weekend in 1997 when three generations of the Pennington family gather together for the first time in over 17 years on the eve of William’s 75th birthday.
Clive Francis stars as William Pennington with Jane Asher playing his. Nick Sampson, Alexander Hanson and Katie Scarfe will star as their children, Amber James, Georgina Beedle and Tom Hanson playing the third generation.
Clive Francis said, "it's not often that one is lucky enough to read a script as gripping as The Gathered Leaves. It's an exemplary piece of writing. Wittily bitter sweet and very disturbing. It is also an added pleasure to be returning to Park Theatre."
The Gathered Leaves runs at Park Theatre from 15 July to 15 August.
