Churchill Theatre Bromley is now run by HQ Theatres & Hospitality

This months sees HQ Theatres & Hospitality assume the management of the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.

Programming will be the responsibility of a local Theatre Director and management team and the venue will offer "a popular array of top-quality musicals, drama, comedy, dance, family shows, one night events and world-class pantomime".

HQ Theatres & Hospitality operates 11 other theatres including High Wycombe's the Wycombe Swan, the White Rock Theatre Hastings, the Palace Theatre Westcliff–on–Sea and Crewe's Lyceum Theatre.

HQ, whose sister company is Qdos Entertainment, also manages a number of hotel and restaurant venues.

The company plans to start offering pre-show dining at the Churchill together with an enhanced range of refreshments and a new programme of value-for-money entertainment-based dining events.

Chris Glover, Theatre Director, said, “this is a hugely exciting time for the Churchill Theatre, its audiences and the local community. As well as revitalising the front-of-house areas to enhance the customer experience, we plan to restore the Churchill Theatre’s past reputation as the starting point for UK tours, enabling local audiences to see productions first.

"Strengthened relationships with local community and amateur groups will ensure that The Churchill remains the focal point of arts development in the Bromley area and beyond.”
