Dusty plays the Charing Cross Theatre

New multi-media show Dusty opens next month at London's Charing Cross Theatre.

This celebration of '60s pop icon Dusty Springfield features her music in live performance as well as through recently discovered rare film footage, using 3-D technology and digital media.

The show has a narrative as seen through the eyes of friends and colleagues and covers her rise to stardom and the recording of seminal album Dusty In Memphis.

The show is written by Kim Weild and Duncan Sibbald with dramaturg Jack Bradley. Chris Cowey will direct with musical direction by Dean Austin. No casting has yet been announced.

Dusty plays the Charing Cross Theatre from 25 May to 22 August.
