Empty Space... Peter Brook Award winner the Unicorn Theatre

Children's theatre the Unicorn won the Empty Space... Peter Brook Award for its introduction to the classics as well as contemporary theatre for children. Other nominees were Theatre503, Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory, Park Theatre, Union Theatre, and the Orange Tree Theatre.

The Mark Marvin Rent Subsidy Award, offered to help a company present its work in London and for the Fringe/Studio Theatres to afford to book them, went to Pippa Frith Productions at Birmingham Rep Door.

The annual Peter Brook/Equity Ensemble Award offered to help establish deeper development of ensemble work went to Antic Disposition.

The Dan Crawford Innovation Award went to the Latitude Festival, the Peter Brook Festival Award was given to physical comedy company Kill the Beast and the Peter Brook Special Achievement Award was given to Toni Racklin and Louise Jeffreys of the Barbican Theatre.
