Empty Space... Peter Brook Awards 2013 winners

The Shed at The National Theatre

The Shed at the National Theatre has won the 24th Empty Space... Peter Brook Award. The National's temporary venue was recognised for "its daring explorations in showcasing studio theatre companies".

The Mark Marvin Rent Subsidy Award was won by Southwark Playhouse and the Peter Brook / Equity Ensemble Award went to Simple8 Theatre Company.

Peter Brook Special Achievement Award recognised Robert Robson, the late artistic director of The Lowry, and Sam Walters, artistic director of The Orange Tree Theatre, whilst the Dan Crawford Innovation Award went to BAC and The Yard received the Peter Brook / Mobius Award.
