IdeasTap Inspires - a new initiatives for 18- to 30-year-olds

IdeasTap is to spearhead a national training programme that will help around 5,000 young people seeking a career in the creative industries.

This initiative, IdeasTap Inspires, is made possible thanks to a £250,000 Exceptional Award from Arts Council England that will allow the arts charity to partner with leading organisations in the provision of a programme that includes workshops, masterclasses, training events and online resources to be delivered across England.

The Royal Shakespeare Company, Complicite and Matthew Bourne's charitable-arm Re:Bourne are amongst the partner organisations.

This is the second Exceptional Award to be granted by Arts Council England. The target age group is 18 to 30 and the disciplines covered will include theatre, photography, writing and dance.
