A new play from Yorkshire-based theatre company Flying Cloud is undertaking a short tour next month.
The Book is devised by the company and features original music by James Hesford from Cellorhythmics. Co–directed by Jennifer Kidd and Tom Cornford, Kidd is in the cast with Leandra Ashton, Marta Isabella Rizi, Asif Khan and Janet Amsden.
The Book looks at how one book can be interpreted in different ways by different cultures in different eras.
The play is suitable for those over the age of 12 and runs without an interval. The tour takes in:
- York Theatre Royal — 5 to 7 June
- Hull Truck Theatre — 11 June
- The Maltings Theatre, Berwick-upon-Tweed — 13 June
- The Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond — 21 June
- Harrogate Theatre — 24 and 25 June
- The Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough — 27 and 28 June
- RADA Festival, London — 9 July
