As The Gruffalo Live extends its London run into next year, two initiatives are revealed which will allow more primary schools to see the show.

The Free Teacher Tickets Initiative has two teachers per London primary school visit for any weekday performance until 4 September 2016 and the Free Schools’ Tickets Initiative offers ten primary school classes of up to 30 pupils free tickets for certain performances during this month and the winter term.

The offer is subject to availability and those schools with most pupils receiving free school meals will be prioritised.

The Gruffalo Live runs at London's Lyric Theatre, Shaftesbury Avenue until 8 January. It is suitable for those aged three and over, running for 55 minutes without an interval.
