The Landor Theatre's season of new musical theatre

London's Landor Theatre has long–been recognised as a venue providing exemplary musical theatre on the fringe circuit, and now artistic director Robert McWhir is presenting a season of new musical theatre work in collaboration with Katy Lipson of Aria Entertainment.

The wide ranging programme includes contributions from across the globe, the world première of The Route To Happiness by composer-lyricist (and BBC comic songwriter) Alexander S Bermange, and a showcase of songs from web site The New Musical Songbook, a recently created source of material promoting the online sale and exposure of musical theatre songs.

Running from 15 February to 17 March the season comprises

  • An Evening of Music and Lyrics by Annemarie Lewis Thomas
  • The Road To Qatar! - by David Krane and Stephen Cole
  • The Route To Happiness - a new musical by Alexander S Bermange
  • Three Writers And A Piano - Giles Howe, Tamar Broadbent and Gary Albert Hughes
  • Metamorphosis - a new musical by Tim Anfilogoff and Alan Whittaker
  • Bitesize - 3 mini musicals and comedy songs
  • Accidental Songs: The Words And Music of Andy Collyer
  • Writers From Three Countries
  • In Here - The Music And Lyrics of Charles Bloom
  • Emerald - winner of the Sidney Brown Award for New Musicals 2013 Denise Wright and Chris Burgess
  • Preview - a selection of material from upcoming projects
  • New Musical Songbook Gala
