For a second year, Aria Entertainment and The Landor Theatre are presenting a season of new musical theatre writing, From Page To Stage.
February's inaugural event had a five-week programme of musical theatre in a variety of styles, and next year's event has a broader format with a fully-staged production of a new British musical headlining the season, a new American musical and a musical specifically intended to be performed in concert.
A classical crossover opera piece, works in development and rehearsed readings are also included in the season, as well as a single performance of a new piece commissioned for From Page To Stage.
The season will run with a repertory company of performers, three directors and three musical directors.
Applications for the festival may be made until 30 September 2013 on the Aria Entertainment web site and the brief for the commissioned work will be announced later in the year.
From Page To Stage runs from 11 February to 8 March 2014 at the Landor Theatre, London.
