Grand roles in Wolverhampton theatre's Peter Pan

Lucy Evans will play Tinkerbell, Hannah Nicholas is Wendy and Kimmy Edwards will be Tiger Lily in Wolverhampton Grand Theatre’s 2015 panto Peter Pan.

Lucy Evans returns to the Grand after her appearance in the title role of Sleeping Beauty in 2013. She started her career at the age of eight as Cosette in Les Misérables at the Palace Theatre in London’s West End.

Hannah Nicholas is no stranger to Peter Pan as she played Wendy in a production at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham. She also played the lead in Cinderella at the Theatre Royal, Plymouth.

Birmingham-born Kimmy Edwards, who grew up in Telford, was in the original West End cast of the award-winning musical Memphis at the Shaftesbury Theatre where she covered the lead role of Felicia Farrell.

As previously announced, John Altman will play Captain Hook and the Chuckle Brothers will be returning to the Grand after 22 years to play Paul and Barry Smee.

Ross Carpenter will play Peter Pan and the rest of the cast is Cameron MacDonald, Sara Morley, Sophie O'Connor, Angela Sheppard, Penny Smart, Alex Sturman, Philip Town and Austin Wilks.

Eight-year-old Archie Turner from Rowley Regis will play Michael alongside James Shaw, aged 11, from Bishopswood as John. On alternate dates, eight-year-old George Passalacqua from Bromsgrove will play Michael and Liam Hewitt, who is ten and from Kingswinford, will play John.

Peter Pan opens runs from Saturday 12 December until Sunday 24 January 2016.
