Stephen Daldry will direct a cast featuring Bill Nighy and the stars of the film One Day Carey Mulligan making her West End stage début and Matthew Beard making his stage début. Nighy's most recent film credit is the Richard Curtis film About Time.
Skylight received the Laurence Olivier award for Best Play. It premièred in 1995 at the National Theatre and went on to transfer to the Wyndham’s Theatre moving on to Broadway and returning for a further run in the West End in 1997.
Skylight has a limited run at the Wyndham’s Theatre; it starts previewing on 6 June 2014.
