Four independent producers or companies are sought by HighTide to receive £2,000 towards the production costs of a new play at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival plus £500 towards PR and marketing.
The shows will also be showcased at the HighTide Festivals in Aldeburgh and Walthamstow.
In addition to this funding, HighTide offers practical help in the form of dramaturgy, rehearsal attendance and creative advice from its artistic director and free use of the space at its offices in London for auditions or meetings.
The selected companies will keep all Edinburgh box office income whilst at Aldeburgh and Walthamstow 30% of the net box office takings will be passed to the companies. In Aldeburgh, travel and accommodation is provided.
