Associate artist at Sadler’s Wells, Hofesh Shechter’s latest show Sun, performed by his company of 16 dancers, tours major UK venues in spring 2014.
Shechter created Sun’s theatrical world with set designer Merle Hensel, lighting designer Lee Curran and costume designer Christina Cunningham. As ever the atmospheric soundtrack is by Shechter himself with additional music from Wagner, Irving Berlin and Sigur Ros.
In worldwide demand as a choreographer, Shechter currently has work in the repertoires of such international companies as Nederlands Dans Theater 1 and Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet. He will be the Guest Director at Brighton Festival 2014.
