The House of Lords Communications Committee has finished its inquiry into the skills needed to sustain the UK theatre industry and its report, Skills for theatre: Developing the pipeline of talent, will be published on 3 May.

The Committee has heard evidence from a wide range of witness including Equity Actors’ Union, The National Theatre, The Young Vic and Tricycle Theatre.

It has looked at nurturing and developing talent, and barriers and routes into the industry.

The Committee's sessions were open to the public and could also have been watched online.
