The Dukes walkabout theatre season is back in Lancaster this summer.
After a two-year absence, it presents Grimm Tales: Witches, Wolves, Fairies and Frogs from July 27–August 22.
Williamson Park is the setting for fairy tales to be told as the audience follow the drama from one location to another.
After a break and then the forced cancellation in 2020, they are raring to go with a production which has been made to meet all safety guidelines.
The Dukes has been entertaining generations of families with their summer promenade shows since 1987, attracting a total of more than a half a million people. In 2016, its outdoor version of The Hobbit won a UK Theatre Award for Best Show for Children and Young People.
