A new digital project, In Search of Sanctuary by James Cousins and Camilla Greenwell, featuring a 6-minute film and photo series, will be available online on 1 December at 6PM on the James Cousins Company web site until 14 December from £3 per viewer.

Four dancers explore their changing relationship to dance over the events of the last year across lockdown, the recent BLM and the 'new normal'.

Created in collaboration with dancers Jemima Brown, Rhys Dennis, Anna-Kay Gayle and Julie Ann Minaai and featuring a specially commissioned sound score by Torben Lars Sylvest, the film follows the four dancers, photographing them in their homes as well as places which have provided moments of sanctuary during the months of lockdown. The dancers, whose daily lives usually involve hours of being in close proximity with each other, talk about their confined experiences over the past six months.

Limited edition prints from the exhibition will be available to purchase.
