Registration to audition for Anne of Green Gables at The Peacock Theatre 26–29 May 2022 is now open to dancers aged 9–16 years.

The new narrative ballet of Anne of Green Gables, written in 1908 by Lucy Maud Montgomery, tells the story of a lively, imaginative 11-year-old orphan who lives on Canada's Prince Edward Island. Adopted by an elderly brother and sister, Anne gets herself into endless scrapes but eventually wins over the community with her endearing, fearless character and passionate nature.

The original artistic team from 2020, when the production was cancelled due to COVID, will be led by Artistic Director Ruth Brill, with choreographer Andrew McNicol, composer Gus Nicholson, costume designer Elin Steele and Leanne Cope as Ballet Mistress.

Registration to audition is now open, with a deadline of 30 September and auditions commencing 10 October 2021.
