London's Tristan Bates Theatre welcomes new producer

Matthew Keeler has taken over from award-winning producers Will Young and Ben Monks at London's Tristan Bates Theatre.

Until last month, Keeler was associate producer at St James Theatre, where he has worked since its opening in 2012.

His productions include Scenes from a Marriage, Putting It Together and Tell Me on a Sunday, which transferred to the West End and was Olivier Award nominated for Best Musical Revival.

Keeler co-founded and co-curated the venue's artist development initiative and coordinated programming.

The Tristan Bates Theatre is a studio space within the Actors Centre in London's Covent Garden, known for showcasing and supporting new work.
