Maury Yeston, the composer of Award-winning musical Titanic, will be in London for the European première of the show, and will talk to theatre critic Mark Shenton and participate in a post-show question and answer session on 2 August.
Yeston and his work have won many awards: his canon includes music and lyrics to Nine (based on the film 8½), additional score for Grand Hotel and the song "Take It All".
Titanic opens at The Large, the bigger of the two performances spaces at Southwark Playhouse, on the 26th of this month. Thom Southerland directs this new chamber version of the show which is produced by Danielle Tarento.
Admission to the event is available only to those with a valid ticket for that night's performance of Titanic.
