Talking Scarlet takes two productions to Buxton Opera House: Stephen Kingsbury and Ben Sleep’s adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s The Wind in the Willows from Monday until Wednesday and James Cawood’s latest thriller Death Toll from Thursday until Saturday.

The Classic Thriller Season at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal continues with John Goodrum’s play based on the mysteries of G K Chesterton, Father Brown—The Curse of the Invisible Man, from Tuesday until Saturday.

A new show “from the UK’s premier rock ‘n’ roll variety production” That’ll Be the Day expects to have theatregoers dancing in the aisles at the Royal Concert Hall, Nottingham on Friday.

The Abba musical Mamma Mia! continues at Birmingham Hippodrome until Saturday 3 September.
