Organised by ensemble physical theatre company Finger in the Pie, Mimetic festival returns with an international programme of puppetry, cabaret and visual theatre.
Across more than thirty performances, comedy, cabaret, burlesque, theatre, family events and films are on offer, with Finger in the Pie commissions Pinocchio by Pants on Fire (see our previous feature) and No Place Like by Le Mot Juste headlining.
New for this year are The Onesies, an awards programme run by One Stop Arts which will recognise Best Ensemble, Best Director, Best Music, Best Design, Best Cabaret Performance, Best Performance by a Puppet, Best Emerging Company, Mimetic First (Best Première), Outstanding Contribution, Best Family Show, Best Cabaret and Best Theatre Show judged by the audience.
Events take place at the Dugdale Centre, Enfield and the programme can be downloaded from the Mimetic web site.
