The Mousetrap

Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap has been the world’s longest running stage production, and on November 25 it comes to Blackpool Grand Theatre as part of its first-ever national tour.

Mousetrap Productions has licensed 60 productions worldwide to mark the 60th year. During this period the show will be seen in every continent.

In her inimitable style, Christie created an atmosphere of shuddering suspense and a brilliantly intricate plot where murder lurks around every corner.

The scene is set when a group of people gathered in a country house cut off by the snow discover, to their horror, that there is a murderer in their midst.

The cast includes Karl Howman (from Brush Strokes) as Mr Paravicini alongside Joanna Croll (Sirens, Doctors) as Mollie Ralston, Ellie Jacob (DCI Banks, Misfits) as Miss Casewell, Christopher Gilling (Law and Order, Silk) as Major Metcalf, Anne Kavanagh (stage appearances in Goodnight Mr Tom and August: Osage County) as Mrs Boyle, Henry Luxemburg (Hollyoaks, Hotel Babylon) as Giles Ralston, Ryan Saunders (on stage in Sweet Bird of Youth and The History Boys) as Christopher Wren and Jonathan Woolf (Travelling Light) as Sgt Trotter.

The play runs from Monday to Saturday.
