Wales-based choreographers will create 45-minute dance performances for outdoor performance this summer for National Dance Company Wales.

NDCWales: Open Air Performance will feature two dance voices from Wales: company dancers Ed Myhill and Faye Tan.

Tan's new energetic dance piece Moving is everywhere, forever is an ode to the act of dancing to a soundtrack by Welsh electronic duo Larch. NDCWales has also been reworking Why Are People Clapping!? by Myhill for outdoors, set to composer Steve Reich’s Clapping Music.

After the two performances, there will be an opportunity for the audience to join in and learn some moments from the two performances.

National Dance Company Wales: Open Air Performances will be going to Chapter (Cardiff) 6 & 7 August, Aberystwyth Arts Centre 10 & 11 August, Theatr Clwyd (Mold) 13 August and Pontio (Bangor) 14 August.
