A short film and virtual gallery, In Search of Sanctuary, from the James Cousins dance company will open Dance East’s digital programme 29–31 January 2021.
Conceived by James Cousins (choreography) and Camilla Greenwell (photography and film) with music by Torben Lars Sylvester, In Search of Sanctuary was created in collaboration with Jemima Brown, Rhys Dennis, Anna-Kay Gayle and Julie Ann Minaai.
The exhibition will launch with a pre-show Q&A with Brendan Keaney, James Cousins, Camilla Greenwell and dancer Anna-Kay Gayle.
