Sadler’s Wells has commissioned an audio work designed for families from Charlotte Spencer Projects, All these things we can make, available as part of Sadler’s Wells Digital Stage.

It invites audiences to build (and de-construct) things with objects found in the home, through audio instructions and music. Audiences will also be able to download an activity pack with additional ideas for things to make, do, try and talk about. The audio can be played from any device and the transcript is available on screen in the video and is also available as a text document.

Director Charlotte Spencer said, “it was an absolute pleasure to be invited by Sadler’s Wells to work on this commission for families. We were really keen to create an experience that families could explore together—that they could do in their own homes, that was playful and fun, that involved building things and moving and working together, rather than simply watching a screen.

"We hope that the weaving of audio instructions and music creates an absorbing, joyful, at times almost giddy experience; that it provides a little bit of time and space to connect differently with your home, that it comes into your body, swirls around and moves you.”
