One Dance UK, the support organisation for the dance sector, has opened nominations for the One Dance UK Awards 2020, that reward the people who have made an impact on the UK dance scene.
Categories for 2020 include:

- Inspirational Community Dance Practitioner Award
- Inspirational Work in Education Award
- Research in Dance Award
- Dance Healthcare Practitioner Award
- Dance Healthcare Team Award
- Applied Dance Science Award
- Regional Award
- Dance for Wellbeing Award
- Innovation in Dance Award
- Dance Campaign Award
- Dance Programming Award
- Dance on Film Award
- People’s Choice Award
- Dance Advocacy Award
- Rising Star Award
- Lifetime Achievement Award
- Jane Attenborough Award
One Dance UK’s CEO Andrew Hurst said, “there is no shortage of exceptional talent working in dance, and we have developed these awards to celebrate the remarkable contribution and commitment of the unsung heroes of our sector. We look forward to seeing a broad range of nominations from all disciplines and dance forms, and we are encouraging everyone to take a moment to nominate those who both inspire and enrich the art form.”
The ceremony will take place towards the end of 2020.
