The 20th WhatsOnStage Awards welcomes nominations for each of its 25 award categories.
Any professional production opening between December 2018 and 27 November 2019 is eligible for public nomination in 21 of the 25 categories, with a further three being specifically for West End, Off-West End or regional productions.
For the Equity Award for Services to Theatre, voting is restricted to Equity members.
Nominations close on 27 November and voting on a shortlist of the top five nominees opens on 5 December. The exception is the shortlisting for the technical categories of Choreography, Costume Design, Direction, Graphic Design, Lighting Design, Musical Direction, Set Design, Sound Design and Video Design, which will be done by an independent panel of industry experts.
Voting for the WhatsOnStage Awards closes on 27 January and the winners will be announced at a ceremony on 1 March for which tickets will be on sale from 6 November 2019.
