David McKee’s picture book Not Now Bernard is brought to life by The Unicorn Theatre at Waterside Arts Centre in Sale on April 6.
In this new production, the director and design team behind the critically-acclaimed Henry the Fifth reunite to bring the colourful pages of McKee’s much-loved picture book to life.
Bernard’s got a problem. He’s found a monster in the back garden and his mum and dad are just too busy to notice. All they ever say is ‘not now, Bernard’. So Bernard tries to befriend the monster... and that doesn’t go quite to plan.
