The Dukes Christmas Cabaret in Lancaster is on the big stage this year and promises new acts and new routines by acclaimed ensemble Slightly Fat Features along with a mix of classic cabaret and orchestrated madness.

Deck the Hall with Boughs of Holly in the historic setting of the Shire Hall of Lancaster Castle.

The venue’s resident professional theatre company, demi-paradise productions, has performed this evergreen celebration of Christmas in words and music since 2000.

Mother Goose takes to the stage of Blackburn’s King George’s Hall and again stars Phil Walker celebrating his 10th record breaking year at the venue.

Peter Pan runs at Manchester Opera House to January 13 and headlines with superstar David Hasselhoff, best known for the iconic roles of Michael Knight in Knight Rider and Mitch Buchanan in Baywatch.

The hit stage musical, White Christmas, based on the classic 1954 movie is back at The Lowry in Salford for the 2012/13 festive season.

A stage version of The Tear Thief—a story for children by poet laureate Carol Ann Duffy—comes to The Studio at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre from Tuesday to December 29.

Liverpool’s recently reopened Epstein Theatre is geared up for its first ever Christmas pantomime, Cinderella—which opens on Friday and runs to January 6.

Local producer Lee Kelly adds: “It's a dream come true to be producing the first pantomime after I performed in numerous pantos at the old Neptune Theatre as a youngster!"
