Physical comedy specialist Spymonkey returns to the stage of Blackpool Grand next Tuesday with its demented take on pulp gothic romance, Cooped.

Award-winning circus company Ockham's Razor returns to The Lowry in Salford with its new production This Time from next Thursday to Saturday.

The world première of Matthew Bourne’s Romeo and Juliet opens at The Lowry in Salford Tuesday and runs until Saturday.

Following three critically-acclaimed runs in London and a successful transfer to New York, the Olivier award-winning production of Rotterdam tours to Manchester Opera House from Thursday to Saturday.

Sarah Ball and David Cardy join Coronation Street’s Vicky Entwistle and Dean Fagan in Oscar Wilde’s comic masterpiece The Importance of Being Earnest, a Bolton Octagon production, performed in the town’s Albert Halls until June 15.

For the first of their two summer season regional premières, Theatre by the Lake in Keswick stages The Children by Olivier Award-winning playwright Lucy Kirkwood, until November 1.
