Laurie Anderson at The Factory groundbreaking Credit: Tarnish Vision

Thriller Live is back at Blackpool Grand from Monday to Wednesday, a concert-style tribute to the career of Michael Jackson.

Fifty years after the Apollo Moon landings, artist Laurie Anderson is flying audiences there with the UK première of her virtual reality work, To The Moon, developed with the artist Hsin-Chien Huang and presented as a virtual reality experience at Manchester Royal Exchange to July 20.

Refract:19 Festival returns for its third year at Sale's Waterside Arts Centre south of Manchester from July 18 to 27.
