I Fagiolini present an evening of renaissance music in Live at LICA's Great Hall at Lancaster University next Thursday. On the same night, in the university’s Nuffield venue, Live at LICA also welcomes Stacy Makishi with a new solo show, The Falsettos, a mix of text, movement and stand-up.

As the Benjamin Britten 100th centenary celebrations come to a close, The Lowry welcomes the composer’s only commissioned ballet, The Prince of The Pagodas, to its Lyric stage, performed by partner company Birmingham Royal Ballet. This re-working by David Bintley, which was first performed in 2011 by the National Ballet of Japan, will open in Salford next Thursday and runs until Saturday.

Thriller – Live, a show currently in its fifth year in London's West End returns to Manchester Opera House from Monday to Saturday. It brings to life the music and dancing of Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5 and stars Cleo Higgins, former lead singer of Cleopatra and star of The Voice 2013, and the X Factor's Rachel Adedeji.

Laid Bare Theatre take their multimedia theatre show Project XXX on a 10-performance tour of the region starting next week.
