The Octagon in Bolton has had to recast a smaller but significant role in The Winslow Boy due to illness.
Flaminia Cinque, who was playing the cheeky maid Violet, has completely lost her voice and has had to drop out, but she has been replaced by Hannah Waterman.
Waterman went on book-in-hand last night and will play the role for the remainder of the run, which closes on 21 April. She is best-known as Laura Beale in Eastenders and Amily Driscoll in New Tricks but has made guest appearances in many TV shows.
