Olivier Awards

The 2020 Olivier Awards, that were due to take place at London's Royal Albert Hall on 5 April with a television broadcast later that evening, are to be replaced with a one-hour televised retrospective.

Olivier Awards—Greatest Moments will be hosted by Jason Manford and will feature highlights from the Awards from the last decade.

Content will include performances and speeches and viewers can expect to see award-winning shows such as Hamilton, The Book Of Mormon and Matilda The Musical.

Magic Radio, which in normal circumstances would broadcast material from the awards ceremony, will present a special programme in similar vein.

Julian Bird, SOLT Chief Executive and Olivier Awards Executive Producer, said, “amid unprecedentedly difficult times for our theatre community, we look forward to providing audiences with a unique celebration of the last ten years of incredible, world-leading British theatre honoured at the Olivier Awards, in anticipation of a separate ceremony for this year’s winners in the autumn.”

Olivier Awards—Greatest Moments will be broadcast on 5 April at 10:15PM on ITV. The Magic Radio broadcast will take place 6–8PM.
