The National Theatre's award-winning comedy One Man, Two Guvnors, returns to The Lowry from January 13-17.

The acclaimed production, now seen by more than a million people worldwide, is written by Richard Bean, based on Carlo Goldoni's classic Italian comedy, The Servant of Two Masters. Gavin Spokes takes the central role of Francis Henshall, with Emma Barton as Dolly and Norman Pace as Charlie.

Gavin Spokes most recently played the role of Parsons in the Almeida/Headlong production of 1984.

As half of comic duo Hale and Pace, Norman Pace co-starred in their long-running BBC comedy but his recent stage credits include Charley's Aunt, Dry Rot, Murder by Misadventure, The Secret Garden, Eurobeat, Almost Eurovision and Chicago.

Emma Barton is well known to TV viewers for her role as Honey Mitchell in BBC1’s EastEnders.

You can hear Gavin Spokes talk about his role in One Man in the BTG podcast, plus Norman Pace mentions it in the episode about Annie Get Your Gun on tour.
