Support new musical theatre writing from as little as £1

Theatre enthusiasts can support the future of musical theatre by helping to fund the From Page To Stage season of new musical theatre which opens next month.

The festival, now in its second year, will run for four weeks featuring scratch events, works in development, rehearsed readings and fully-staged productions selected from 120 musicals submitted in an open application process.

From Page To Stage will also see a preview screening of Big Society the Musical with a Q & A event.

Following the success of last year’s From Page To Stage, the Arts Council has provided a grant to support the 2014 programme of work and there has been some private funding; now producer Katy Lipson of Aria Entertainment is seeking the public's help to raise the final £2,500 needed for the festival. Pledges start at £1.

From Page To Stage will take place from 10 February to 9 March at London's Landor Theatre. For further information and booking visit the Landor Theatre web site or the From Page To Stage web site.

The Kickstarter campaign ends on 3 February. To support the campaign visit the Kickstarter web site.
