New writing and touring theatre company Out of Joint is looking for an experienced theatre director to take on the role of joint artistic director with responsibility for developing and directing new work, discovering and nurturing new voices and forging relationships with artists and organisations in the theatre industry.
The post–holder will work with artistic director Max Stafford-Clark and producer Martin Derbyshire.
Stafford-Clark said, “this is a terrific opportunity for a director to learn how a theatre company works and to benefit from our resources and experience in commissioning, developing and producing new theatre. It is also a brilliant opportunity for the company, and I’m excited to begin the process of finding our new colleague, and to our benefiting from their energy and ideas.”
Out of Joint was co-founded by Max Stafford-Clark and Sonia Friedman. It tours nationally and internationally with new takes on the classics and work by new and established writers.
The deadline for applications is 1 April.
