Relaxed: John Partridge as the Prince in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Birmingham Hippodrome

Two West Midlands theatres are to hold “relaxed performances” of their pantos.

The shows are adapted for those with an autistic spectrum condition, sensory and communication disorders or a learning disability.

The performances include changes in lighting and sound cues as well as a more relaxed attitude to noise in the auditorium.

Wolverhampton Grand will be staging a relaxed performance of Sleeping Beauty, featuring Joe Pasquale, Lucy Evans and Ceri Dupree, on Thursday (16 February) at 11AM.

Birmingham Hippodrome will be presenting a relaxed performance of “Britain's biggest pantomime”, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, featuring John Partridge, Gok Wan and Stephanie Beacham, on Thursday, 30 January at 1PM.
