The fifth Papatango New Writing Prize is now accepting submissions.
There are no age restrictions for applicants but they are to be UK residents and able to provide scripts electronically.
The play must be an original, unperformed and un–produced stage work and have a running time of at least 90 minutes.
The winning piece, which will be announced on 1 August, will be performed at the Finborough Theatre in November and will be published by Nick Hern Books.
Entries are judged anonymously by a panel that includes Finborough Theatre artistic director Neil McPherson.
