PLASA Show stages a come back in 2021

Entertainment technology annual event the PLASA Show has been cancelled. It should have taken place in London in September but has fallen victim to the ongoing distancing restrictions.

PLASA (Professional Lighting And Sound Association) has, however, announced that plans are going ahead to stage the show next year.

Head of events Sophie Atkinson said, “it is of course very disappointing to have to postpone PLASA Show this year which would have been the first in Olympia’s Grand Hall. But I am in no doubt that it is the right thing to do for the industry at this challenging time. We will sorely miss PLASA Show this year and look forward to being able to meet you in London from 5–7 September 2021.”

In the meantime, the association, whose members support and supply technology to live performance and entertainment events, continues its work of lobbying for urgent government support, research, and cross-industry collaboration within the pandemic context.
