PLASA London is the industry's principal event for sound, lighting and stage technologies in the UK.
Held annually, it showcases state-of-the-art entertainment technology, provides workshops, demonstrations and professional development events for participants at all levels.
This year's event sees the inauguration of the PLASA Awards for Innovation. Covering a range criteria including technical practice, safety and sustainability, the panel of judges may also give a 'Gold' Award for an entry which "stands out above the rest".
Entries for the award may be submitted until 27 September and the winners will be announced at a ceremony in the new AudioLab Arena on Monday 7 October.

During its history, it has seen hundreds of product innovations introduced to the market, a trend which we expect to see continued at the 2013 event. The PLASA Awards for Innovation aim to emphasise this focus on true innovation.”
As in previous years, the Gottelier Award will also be given to one of eight finalists for the advancement of entertainment, presentation or installation technology.
PLASA London 2013 takes place at ExCeL London from 6 to 9 October.
