Radio presenter, poet and writer for theatre, film, music and lyrics and creator of gothic comic verse The Mystery of the Raddlesham Mumps, Murray Lachlan Young, wants R&D help from primary school-aged children to create his new show.

Another epic-poem, Iffly Sney and the Tandlesham Nook, recounts the adventure of brother and sister Atom and Luna in a magical forest and the young participants' role will be in contributing ideas, images and feedback.

Lachlan Young said, “it’s a brilliant project: the idea is to create a digital interface for children to pass through into wider performance and creativity.

“The children will be amongst the very first people to see and read parts of the first draft. We really value their opinions and the unique ideas they have to offer and we know their creativity will actually shape the final look and feel of the piece.”

Parents and carers whose children would like to take part in the digital research and development of Iffly Sney should sign up at the Raddlesham Mumps web site.

The team behind The Mystery of the Raddlesham Mumps, which would have been on tour, have made the studio album available for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis at no charge. The illustrated book, prequel game for Android tablet and phone and VR experience are also available.
