Applications are now open for new finished pieces, The Suitcase Prize and Scratch Performances for next year's Pulse Festival.
The 16th annual PULSE Festival Ipswich runs from 26 May to 4 June and is a part curated/part open application event presenting new and innovative work covering a wide range of genres from regional, British and international artists.
The Suitcase Prize criteria are that the work must be brand new, unfinished and able to tour on public transport in luggage carried by the people taking part in the piece. All shortlisted artists will present their work‐in‐progress at the Festival in front of an audience and a panel of judges.
Applications must be for new professional work or work by a new and emerging company.
Scratch Performances are new works‐in‐progress of 60 minutes or less from artists exploring new practice and new ideas.
Information for applicants is available online. The deadline for applications is 8 January.
