Rambert School's new film, Moving Forward, brings together seven short original dance works choreographed, performed and filmed by the students during lockdown.
The film is twenty-five-minute showcase of a variety of original choreography, some introspective, one, The Spider and The Fly, a children's tale, and in some cases music composed by students themselves, each about two minutes long.
The pieces are placed in context by commentaries from second and third year students with chair of the board Louise Verrill, patron of the school Lady Anya Sainsbury and artistic director Benoit Swan Pouffer.
The school teaches both classical and contemporary technique, and there are glimpses of classwork.
