Playing the dame: David Robbins
Princely role: Jamal Crawford

David Robbins and Jamal Crawford have been added to the cast of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the 2022 family panto at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham.

East Midlands actor Robbins has played the dame on several occasions and will again team up with Joe Pasquale, previously announced as playing Muddles in Snow White. The pair spent previous Christmases in panto in Plymouth and Milton Keynes.

Crawford will play the Prince. He was in the world première of Back to the Future at the Opera House, Manchester in March 2020 and took the part of Tyrone Jackson in the 2019 tour of David De Silva’s Fame.

Crossroads Pantomimes, which was behind the 2021 production of Alan McHugh’s Robin Hood at the Theatre Royal, will stage Snow White.

Venue director Peter Ireson said, “we’re thrilled to add two more very exciting names to our pantomime cast. Alongside panto legend Joe Pasquale and singing and dancing sensation Faye Tozer, David and Jamal will add a wealth of experience and tremendous talent to this year’s Theatre Royal pantomime.”

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will run from Saturday 3 December until Sunday 8 January 2023.
