Nottingham’s favourite outlaw will return to the city’s Playhouse in its 2018 panto, Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood.

Director Kenneth Alan Taylor said, “Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood is a classic pantomime story and it’s already received a great response from audiences. It’s been six years since we last staged this production, so we felt it was about time Robin came home for Christmas.”

Tim Frater and Kelly Agredo will play Robin Hood and Maid Marian. Playhouse favourite John Elkington will take to the stage as Nurse Nellie Noggins alongside Rebecca Little as Tilly Tuck the Tomboy. Robin Kingsland will be the evil Sheriff of Nottingham.

Frater was Buttons, Agredo played the lead, Elkington was an ugly sister and Little played Dowager Duchess Devilla in Cinderella at the Playhouse in 2017.

The panto will feature two adult chorus members, providing an opportunity for recently graduated performers to gain their first professional credit.

Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood will run at Nottingham Playhouse from Friday 30 November until Saturday 19 January 2019.
