Save The Last Dance For Me, the 60s-set musical from the team that created Dreamboats and Petticoats, returns to Manchester next month.

Written by Laurence Marks and Maurice Gran (Goodnight Sweetheart, Birds of a Feather, Shine on Harvey Moon), and featuring the music of Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman, it’s a nostalgic journey to a golden music era following two teenage sisters through the summer of ‘63.

The show features classic hits including "A Teenager in Love", "Sweets for my Sweet", "Turn Me Loose", "Here I Go Again", "Viva Las Vegas", "Little Sister", "His Latest Flame", "Suspicion", "Can’t Get Used to Losing You" and the title song.

It’s at Manchester Palace from August 12-17.
